Stitching

Published At: March 5, 2024

Stitching, also known as splicing, is the process of taking two or more video files and combining, or concatenating, them together in a timeline to create a new video. Stitching is often used to add a common preroll or postroll to a set of video. Ad stitching is also a common practice of inserting ads into the video file or video manifest, on-the-fly, as the video is being delivered to viewers.
