Today we’re introducing the first of several new SDKs we’ll be releasing over the coming months, Mux Python 🐍.
Mux Python is a lightweight wrapper around Mux’s APIs, which make it easy to integrate Mux-powered video experiences into your Python apps.
Let’s take a look at a simple example that creates a new Asset using Mux Python.
The release of Mux Python also marks an exciting new SDK strategy for us. Mux Python was generated from OpenAPI V3 definitions of our APIs - we’re hoping to generate most of our new SDKs going forward. We wrote about how we’re building our code-generated SDKs and some of the challenges we experienced. Check it out!
We’ll be releasing even more SDKs over the coming months, but if you have a burning desire for an SDK in a particular language, please get in touch so we work on what’s most important to you.
